We aim to make the pathway to admissions and college easier by roadmapping a path forward, establishing a comprehensive college list that fits the student, and approaching essays efficiently to best utilize the student’s limited time. We are with you from start to finish, and we hope to guide both the student and parents through this stressful chapter in their lives. We limit ourselves to a few students per counselor each year because we pride ourselves on quality and aim to help our students get into their highest reaches!
What We Offer
We guide the younger ones with course selection and polishing their applications/essays for summer programs and internships. For seniors, we help narrow down/ expand college lists, brainstorm essay topics, edit essays, expand upon extracurricular activities descriptions, and write continued interests/waitlist appeal letters.
History
We’ve done college counseling since we started tutoring hundreds of students. We’ve been there for our students from the beginning to the end of the entire college application process, and all of our past students say that they couldn’t have gone through their application process without us. Student will have their own personalized team by matching mentors/advisors/tutors with interests and experience through assessment and program to help build your own unique personal brand. ACE is here to serve you! A well craft personalized plan will help you know what to do and when to do at a glance.
Aptitude Test, Strengths/Opportunities Assessment and Strategic Plan
Start off with comprehensive analysis to understand where you need help with and to identify interests and talents. Each meeting, team of experts and mentors at Ace will take time to get to know you in order to guide you through each processes and equipped you with the tool you need for your future endeavor. Ultimately, create roadmap and a strategic plan of action for high school and eventually college.
Academic Advisement
Advisors provide professional analysis and strategies to help enrich student and optimize their learning experience. Through course selection strategy, experience tutoring in all subjects and standardize test, we help student excel at school and boost their GPA.
Exploration and Persona Development
Based on students assessment and interest, Advisors help students to explore and decide on potential majors and right extracurricular activities to showcase passion and talent. During summer and winter break, ACE help student to prioritize and finding/ applying for suitable internships/volunteer opportunities to show growth. ACE and Advisors have extracurricular activities, personal brand building, science exhibition competition, Olympiad competition, cultivating leadership quality, internship, guidance of club activities and abundant resources awaits for student to tap in. ACE is here to help student to explore, develop and to help showcase student’s passions, goals and aspirations.
College/Major selection and College Application Priority (EA/ED)
Organize college application priority such as identifying early action, early decision and regular decision schools. Advisor at ACE will help create a balanced college list with safety, target and reach to ultimately help students reach their dream school.
College Essay and Draft Application
Team of experts at ACE help students with strategic selection of essay prompt, essay brainstorming and editing from scratch to perfection. Every step of the way, students will have the guidance of professionals assisting crafting storyline, editing, drafting and reviewing supplemental essays.
